We are only 4 pages in and my 5 year old who is obsessed with earth sciences has learned so much already. And it's been 20 years since I sat in an earth science class so it's like a refresher for me. This is going to be a great part of our homeschooling day.

My kids, age 7 and 8, loved the book. But the book lost most of its points because I lost confidence on the total correctness of the book as soon as I got to a place Ethiopia is depicted as Sunni Islam country. Someone didn’t do his research or got wrong information. Muslim population in Ethiopia are less than 30% of the total population. Ethiopia is a majority of Orthodox Christian and about 20% are Protestant Christian’s. As the neighboring countries were Muslim, the country was called island of Christianity.For this specific case I can correctly inform my kids, but I am really concerned about what else is wrong in this book.I bought around 8 books from DK, and my kids loved them all. But I am still concerned if they are getting fully correct education.

10-year-old could not put down this book for weeks. Book generated a lot of discussion in our household when he had follow-up questions or wanted to share information. Clever presentations and fascinating choice of subject matter. Wonderful purchase, recommend this book thoroughly for any budding geographer.

My friend’s kid love this and his dad alao loves reading it to his kid. Hard bound. It doesn’t look cheap. Let us give gifts that they can learn great things. And this is one of them.

My 8 y.o son loves this book and the wonderful graphics and detailed info it contains. He enjoys reading and referencing it time and again, and shares it's many interesting facts with us.

Bought as a Christmas present for my Lego loving 7 year old....was kind of worried he wouldn't touch it, but it has great pictures and really interesting facts, we've read s page or two every night and he even took it to school. Would definately recommend.

One of my sons (2nd grade) LOVES geography and he really enjoys this book! Lots of fun facts; he's read it multiple times.

Very educational! We (all) love browsing it.It is the "same" world map on each page. And each page has a theme. Different events are shown on this page. It is a good quality book too and it makes it a good BD gift.

This is the coolest book! My 7 year old loves to read/look through this over and over. And he's learning so much about our earth: geography, weather, animals. It is a great size and very well made.

Fake reviews..... Fake reviews everywhere. Not only will I stay away from this book, I'll permanently stay away from eClicks and any other company that engages in writing fake reviews to try to drum up business they don't deserve. Crap like this is exactly why nobody trusts you slimy lead vendors.

Notice that all these five star reviews are all within the same couple of days in late August. No details on the book itself. Sounds to me like all the reviews are fake.
