This lab manual is awesome. There are not many lab manuals available for the new CCNA 200-125 exam at this bitthis is the only one you will ever need. This lab manual is well structured and well written. If you are studying for CCENT or CCNA routing and switching do not hesitate to buy this book.
Even though I have only been able to go through a couple of the labs. This book as been invaluable in me learning how to configure the equipment with such ease that one can configure a switch in their sleep. Which is great, each task is broken down by topology diagram, to actual instructions and then if actually needed the commands needed to configure the switch. My only complaint is that the book doesn't come in a spiral bound variant but it is insignificant when compared how good the book is.
Very well constructed lessons, great labs. The only down side to the Kindle edition is the formatting of the pages is not always agreeable.
This guide coupled with the CCNA Simplified book will give you a substantial amount of practice for the exam and the real world. Both of these products are great with an excellent practical approach, these books are a must!Hi Paul,When are you going to update your CCNP lab and study guides?
Labs are a great way to learn a product, but some of these labs feel unrealistic (never really do that). Others are right in line with the simulation questions on the certification exam. Overall positive.
I've done the first 20 or so labs and I've been pretty happy with them. Some of them seem a bit simple but I can see their need if you're not overly familiar with using the command prompts. The bulk of them are really detailed though and I'm re-learning at a great rate.
The book is easy to read and not boring , the labs are the best thing about studying, get a good simulator. You actually look forward to the next topic......wish there was way more intense testing for the procrastinator like me.
Exactly what is needed for those that want to learn by doing and practice. Well worth the time and can be used to build your automation library i.e. Ansible or other devops training and learning too.
